What working together looks like

Let’s meet to discuss your project.
I’d love to see your space and hear about what you have planned.
You can decide if I’m the right fit for you.

STEP 1: Initial chat
Before we meet in person, let's have a quick phone call to discuss your project and identify how I can help you. This is your chance to tell me what you're planning, what's feeling overwhelming, and where you need support.

We'll talk through your timeline, budget, and what kind of guidance would be most useful.

This call is complimentary and there's no obligation. It's simply a chance for us to figure out if we're a good fit.

STEP 2: Initial consultation
($150/hour)
If we're a good fit, we'll schedule an initial consultation at your home. I'll see the space (or review your plans), take measurements, and we'll discuss your vision in detail. This is where we get practical - talking through layouts, materials, pain points, and what needs to happen next.

Hourly Design Sessions
($150/hour)
Most clients love this flexible approach. We work together on an ‘as-needed’ basis - whether that's brainstorming layouts, making decisions around materials, reviewing samples, or troubleshooting design problems.

Start with a single session, then book in ongoing consults throughout your project. You're in total control.

Design Intent Drawings
($150/hour, quoted as required)
If you need scale floorplans and/or wall elevations to help visualise the space or assist with sharing your vision with trades, I'll prepare detailed ‘coloured-up’ design intent drawings that show how everything fits together using the materials we have chosen.

These are especially helpful for:

  • Custom cabinetry (kitchens, bathrooms, built-in wall units)

  • Furniture placement and space planning

  • Builder and cabinetmaker coordination

Ongoing Support
Renovation questions don't stick to a schedule. Before you find yourself standing in the tile showroom feeling over-whelmed because your builder wants the tiles delivered next week and you thought you had more time. Book me for an in-showroom consult. We can select the tiles together - make sure the sizing is correct, think about grout colours and pre-select that, etc. I’m here to help you move forward efficiently with confidence and low-stress.

Interior Styling Advice
The finishing touches matter. Let’s think about the space holistically. Lighting, furniture size and positioning. Don’t let these things be an after-thought. Let’s build that into the design and planning stage so you have powerpoints, light switches and different styles of lighting accounted for.

Who this works for?

You're perfect for this approach if you:

  • Want to be involved in your renovation (not hand it off completely)

  • Are happy to visit showrooms, source products, and co-ordinate trades

  • Need expert guidance on the big design decisions (layouts, materials, colours)

  • Value professional advice but don't need full-service project management

This probably isn't for you if you:

  • Want someone to manage your entire project from start to finish

  • Prefer a designer to make all the decisions without your input

  • Need interior architecture or structural design services
